How to Treat bruises and swelling with Onions



The natural anti-inflammatory and pain relieving properties that onions have make them a great remedy for treating bruises. Cut off a slice of raw onion and hold it over the bruise for about 10-20 minutes. 
For a more intense method, dice up half of an onion and mix it up with about 2-3 tablespoons of salt. 
Rub the mixture on the bruise, cover it with a bandage, and keep the mixture on overnight. In the morning, the swelling and bruising should be far less intense!
